Bloodied but Unbowed!
That’s the phrase, right?
As I said too long ago, I’ve wanted to move away from Substack. I was checking out Ghost and Beehiiv, and Ghost annoyed me with a weird passive aggressive email hinting that I may be a dirty dirty spammer since I uploaded my member list first. So I went to Beehiiv. That platform seemed good but got more complex and their placed all of their support on the shoulders of a cute AI/LLM called “Buzz.” So I got no help.
So I made up with Ghost and I’m working on getting up to speed. I’m so late on a post and so frustrated with this whole dang thing, I’m just sending this to let yall know a few facts, then I will come back later with a neat template and graphics and everything, and give you actual content for this newsletter.

My new cozy fantasy book, The Snake and Heron Inn, has been announced! It will come out sometime in 2027, but I hope it will be earlier. (Let’s be honest, they are giving me lots of time for revisions which sometimes I need. But I hope to deliver a clean draft.)
